The village Lana

14 km distance, also by bicycle!

Lana is a pretty village not far from Andriano. We particularly recommend a shopping trip in the pedestrian zone of the village centre, a relaxing walk along the Brandiswaal and a visit to the parish church of Maria Himmelfahrt in Niederlana with its 14 m high winged altar by Hans Schnatterbeck, which is well worth seeing.

Our tip: A bike tour to Lana, along side roads and apple orchards and enjoy a carefree day in the apple-growing region.

Also worth a visit is the South Tyrolean Museum of Fruit Growing, where you will find extensive documentation on the historical development and current situation of fruit growing in South Tyrol.
