After years of restoration work, Festenstein Caslte is now open to visitors. On various dates, the Andriano Tourist Association allows visistors special access to the castle.

From September 2025, the dates for the special openings are as follows:

05/09/2025 | 12/09/2025 | 21/09/2025 | 26/09/2025 |

05/10/2025 | 12/10/2025 | 17/10/2025

from 10 AM to 3 PM

The castle can only be reached on foot:
1 hour from Andriano, steep and difficult trail
20 minutes from Gaido, downhill, moderately difficult trail
